Checking K4 hinge movement

Today we lifted up K4 with the winch in order to track the movement of the folding mechanism and to obtain a rough weight of the boat.

Sensor placement

Gabe and Damon used the laser level to sight the sensor placement and then Damon drilled holes in the side hulls where the sensors should attach. Gabe and Joe just laminated reinforcements on those holes and Joe showed off the sensor bearings, which will fit in those holes.

Joining beams and bulkheads

Damon, Vincent, and Gabe are working on joining the beams, hulls, bulkheads.

Today Dudu cut and sewed the fabric section for the trampoline wings.

K4 bulkhead update

Damon is working on permanent installation of the bulkheads. He also attached the rudder supports for the center hull.

Yesterday Damon and Vincent and Emmett wet-sanded all six hull pieces. Today Vincent is finishing up the work.
