Early this morning, Jakob and Merten set out to test the canards set up on one of the Jetfoilers. This a Radio Controlled set up with forward canards to control up and down pitch and rear canards to control the bank or the roll of the board. The team tested several times, each time changing the dialing down the gain for the lift. The last test run, Jakob achieved and sustained  some flight. Some things to note, interference from the wiring may seem to be an issue and the tape used to secure the wire may cause a problem with stabilization. There are future thoughts to creating a masts with larger wire runs to help with wire management. While the Evolo box and the board were getting setup, Chris and Phil joined us to update all the motors currently in use in the fleet. Up until now, the motors had different firmware. This will help rule out and identify any problems experience with motor/struts.
